Description:  Electrified. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 19 June 1962. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #8635 and #8630. Both are AS-18M's built by the American Locomotive Company in 1957 and rated at 1,800 horsepower each. They are pulling a southbound mixed-cargo freight train through the North Philadelphia Passenger Station.

Description:  Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #8504 and #8630. #8504 is an ES-15M built by GM-EMD in August of 1952 and rated at 1,500 horsepower. #8630 is an AS-18M built by the American Locomotive Company in February of 1957 and rated at 1,800 horsepower.
