Camden. Here is the third of three successive duplicate 35mm color slides via Al Chione that were taken in Camden, New Jersey, on 24 June 1957. The photographer is not identified. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3858, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1923 and retired in April of 1958 after 35 years of faithful service. Note the trainphone apparatus on the tender's deck. ("Stoneborobranch"; #54 of 69) |
