PRR 645, E-6S, c. 1953         
Here is a photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #645, an E-6S (4-2-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata during July of 1914 and retired in October of 1955. Partially visible at the right is PRR engine #8499, an AS-10M switcher built by the American Locomotive Company in June of 1952 and rated at 1,000 horsepower. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Gary Mittner Collection.
