CEI 4-6-2 #1023 - Chicago & Eastern Illinois
Description:
This was the last 4-6-2 Pacific built for the Chicago & Eastern Illinois RR. It was delivered in January of 1923 by the Lima Locomotive Works as a K-3 class member. No date or location was given but since the tender wears the loco number instead of the older style "C&EI" lettering, it was taken after 1941. Photo stamp on the back was "The Garys".
